Susan Branscome, who chairs the institute’s marketing and communications efforts, spent her 40-year career in commercial real estate, including founding her own commercial mortgage banking company. Her strong business acumen is a vital contribution to the Food Addiction Institute board.

In addition to commercial real estate, Susan has branched into podcasting. She created and hosts LeadingShe, a podcast aimed at empowering women in leadership who share insights and experiences from women across various fields.

Since 2022, she has been interviewing professionals and recovering food addicts on Food Addiction, The Problem and the Solution, a production of the INFACT School. More than 50,000 episodes have been downloaded.

Susan has been in 12-Step recovery for a dozen years and abstinent from sugar and excess portions since 2017. She is passionate about increasing awareness of Food Addiction as a disease that has a solution.
