She has a lot of experience working with children and parents related to sugaraddiction and has been working in the field for 11 years this year. She has a recovery journey of her own and as she entered recovery her children were small, which made her do all the research on children and food, parenting and recovery that ended up with her writing the book. Today her three children are aged 19, 17 and 12. Some of the questions answered during this interview are: 1. How do I know if my child is sensitive to food (a sugar addict)? 2. Do we diagnose children as sugar addicts/food addicts? 3. Is it important, or even possible, to get children totally off sugar and flour? 4. How do I make the changes regarding food? What steps are beneficial? 5. What is the most challenging in the process of making the changes? 6. Is changing the food only about the food?
