Interviewed by: Cynthia Myers-Morrison, EdD Debbie Danowski, Ph.D. is a food addict who has been in recovery for nearly 30 years. She has lost more than half of her body weight going from a high of 328 pounds. Debbie is the author of five popular books about weight loss and food addiction and an associate professor in the School of Communication, Media, and the Arts at Sacred Heart University. Debbie is also a volunteer president of Nakoma Farm, Inc. a nonprofit, animal welfare organization.
